High Key Rock #2

This one is new, one of the pieces I worked on over the past weekend. I am actually feeling a bit somber about posting it, and am happy to post it today, as this rock is a small piece of New Zealand come home with us... and thinking about the folks I know there. I know some are OK already from reading other entries, and they aren't in Chch. Others, well, they're still firmly in mind here.

I'm curious as to what it would look like at another angle. You use shadows like painters use paint, so rotated a few degrees to the right and the holes look deeper, wider, and more mysterious.

Or even the addition of another light, from a different angle, without rotating the rock itself. Yes, there are those as well.

Somewhere along the West Coast of South Island is the most likely, followed by a couple different places we stopped by rivers and one or two along the North-East coast.

But... like... it's just a rock, Boss!
