What Does That Mean?

Woke up from a dream this morning. As mentioned before, usually don't recall dreaming much less part of the dream. In this one I was at AORN Headquarters to make some photographs. In that odd way that dreams possess, I knew it to be Headquarters even though it didn't look anything like the building in Denver. Partly I'm sure I knew this because of some of the people in the dream with me.

Mostly what struck me is, as we prepared for the photos, I looked at the camera with me, my Mamiya C330, and thought, I didn't bring film.


Dream now open to interpretation by any readers of Flist who care to toss in random numbers.

I suspect what it really means, though, is I've become quite accustomed to working with a digital SLR.

Oh, I'm not much on dream interpretation, but I'll give it a go. Here you are at your professional organization's headquarters to take some sort of offical photos or another and you don't have any film. It's probably one of those inadequacy dreams, but then again it just might be like my recurring nursing nightmare dream I have where I can't find my patients' rooms because the entire until is different.

Any time I dream about work in any form, it's never a good thing. Bad enough I have to put in my time when I'm awake:D

Oddly enough, I don't consider a lot of what I've done with AORN as 'work'. Practice-related, sure, but not work.

Work is where I go and they pay me.

Since I sell my photographs, I suppose that could make this dream work-related...

Mostly, I'm just curious what interpretations people would give it.
