We didn't actually eat the fish last night, but will tonight. All fresh-water catches, croppie and a couple perch. They're ready to go!

Over in fatfred's there's been a discussion going on about roast pig, luau style, with wedschilde who just popped up from the Ether. If I hadn't already eaten lunch, I sure would be wanting to now.

Today's a quiet day, for which I'm grateful. I expect the energy and noise levels will crank up later, but for now... aaaahhhh.


It's been really strange. I wander around LJ, and I keep thinking I've heard one or more of the Border Collie Bros.

any type of fish will do. miso base... fresh from the tub. add sugar, shoyu (soysauce), ginger and some green onions (scallions) soak the fish fillets in the mixture... and then...ensuring there is a miso "outercoating" slowly fry with a little sesame seed oil.

any fish would do. salmon and black cod (butterfish) are the known favourites.

very good over rice. and with tempura sweet potatoes.

they eat well at my house. and please forgive me for littering your LJs today. i don't normally become so verbose. it must be the food discussion...which started off with a simple nagamochi. sheesh. i'll shut up now.

Nah, keep it going. It helped my day pass too. Give it a little time, maybe a bit of a read, and you'll understand when I say, I'm not at work today and it helped the day pass.

we're having a lazy day here. tomorrow off (stock market closed on good friday) and nothing for said resident graphics person to do today. so it's reading the news and LJ.

Yeah! We eat pretty well on the ranch, too, and when I mentioned this to Ruthie, her comment was "Oooooo"
