So, because High Country Lakes & Blue Look Cool... )

Lake Chelan, Washington. I'm actually somewhat surprised at myself that I've not posted it already as a Pic'o'Day. Over on Flickr, this photograph has the most views, the most 'Favorites', and the most 'Interestingness' according to, well, Flickr. It does not, however, have the most 'Comments' so I guess people simply go and look.

Ran errands today with Herself, took her shopping. Mostly we bought groceries, did get a few other things, and she got a lot of prices. Then we hurried home to be with Houdini because the thunderstorm came along...

Again, NWS... feel free to suggest titles )

A comment in this thread, yet elsewhere, addressed the usefulness of some of these images for zero-gravity/micro-gravity artwork. Indeed. That is one of the purposes behind this experiment.

I had a title for this, really I did... )

Another selection which may make it into the Mirror Theme for NCFPC next month. I'd been thinking of what word I wanted to describe the scene as I see it, and it floated into my mind as I started the process of prepping for upload. Since I didn't make a note of it then, it promptly floated right on out of my head without waiting or so much as a by your leave.

Not a great day at Hospital, not a bad one at least for me.

I was experimenting with the first digital camera I purchased, a Nikon E4300. I'd gotten it as a wee bit of an impulse, and also a reward for achieving a different goal. Bought it at Nelson's Camera in San Diego, as well. In one manner it didn't last long, in another it's still around. However, it won't record.

This came from a set while waiting for my lunch to be delivered at an in-house restaurant in a hotel in Dallas. I went there to attend an annual conference held by GE Healthcare, the health related software division of Generous Electric (where Progress is our most important problem).
