Based on feedback, I'm going to theorise that the colour version of this one is going to work better than the monochrome B&W. As to why Flickr didn't want to play nice yesterday, I've no theories. However, this constitutes yesterday posting, sort of, which means that if Flickr plays nice this evening from home, there may be another in this series.

I've been going through both archived work and the new pieces from Sunday selecting ones to work up for this.

Yes, definitely better -- all that greenery which is nicely varied in color was about the same tone, which made it hard to read in that version (and I will answer the question from yesterday, but probably not until tonight, should be on the road already...)

If you can do non-standard sizes, than I would play with cropping a bit (using the good old hold pieces/corners of paper method up works well I find, as I feel like there is a stronger composition in there trying to get out but I'm not exactly sure which edge it is that my eye wants to go away....

I need to re-read the critique guide, as the club switched from showing prints to projected digital images in January & I've not been able to show anything until now (work schedule). However, when showing prints, the maximum size was 16x20. There is a max pixel size lll x hh and I need to refresh my memory on that. I don't think there are restrictions on square, so long as the max length dimension isn't exceeded.

No hurries on the alt methods; I know there are a couple in textbooks I've got, worked with them but not consistently enough to be familiar with them.
