Other than this contains some seasonal reference (chilly, april), I've recently learned that simply writing a poem in the 5 - 7 - 5 syllable format may not, strictly speaking, be a haiku. Seasonal/Nature referents & syllables make a haiku. Human Nature (particularly satirical/cynical ones) referent & syllables make a ...sengoku I think is the name.
