I know its freaking freezing here so I can only imagine 2 hrs north.
idk if it makes you feel better but i talked to my mom and its in the low teens with a thick layer of semi-frozen slush in lands north...could be worse.
What do you do with the animals when it gets this nasty?
Provide shelter from the wind is the biggest thing, because that same shelter also helps the herds keep in body heat. Bed them down with straw hay. Turn off water and drain any automatic water points (pressure valves for sippin'), bypass float valves for trickle on tanks or drain the hoses that supply them.
