Army hires Disney to change attitudes

WASHINGTON, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has enlisted Disney to improve the attitudes of staff at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, for $800,000.

All military and other government employees at Walter Reed are required to attend a four-hour seminar on customer service developed by Disney, The Washington Post reported Monday.

Oh, I do. And, AORN hired Disney to present their business/leadership workshop for a leadership cadre several years back; I got ot attend it. Very well done. Furthermore, I figure that's where the income is for WDW, the business/leadership seminars, which is why they've gotten quite good doing them.

Also, historically there is a connection between the U.S. armed forces and Disney. During WW2 they did a lot of training films for the various services; this continued up to the Korean War, I think. Some of those films are still used, I imagine.
