Stone: still bouncing around in the kidney. Was supposed to hear from the Urology clinic today, no surprise that I didn't. Will try calling them tomorrow. Mostly it's to see if my date with an anesthetic can be moved up at all.

Ranch: had a cow get out last night. Not good, not sure of the total problem. Nobody killed. Though the cow will become beef soon. Selecting certain tendancies out of the gene pool.

Month: December is not always one of my favorite months. Sometimes it is. There've been lots and lots of changes in my life which occured in December. This one's proving no exception. Details remain to be worked out, more will be posted when they are.

Geeze! What is taking them so dang long! I figured you'd have an in with these medicos. No dice, eh? Not a good thing, that. It's a horrible thing to go through.

Sorry about the cow situation, too. Beef is good but it's nicer to pick and choose with a bit different priorities.

(((hugs))) I hope things start looking up very soon for you.

Do have an in, actually, and rather shamelessly exploited it. My first clinic appointment would be this upcoming Thursday if I hadn't. And one of my colleagues at work yesterday (she does the Urology surgery service) brought my Doc into my OR and said to him, 'This man needs to be on your surgery schedule, SOONEST.' That's what the call today was supposed to be about. We'll see.

As for the cow, no body killed. Vehicle damages to be paid for.

We'll see.

Well thank goodness! That's still not very fast, though... but I am glad that you pulled on some strings.

Medicine has changed drastically since I worked. I don't recall our doctors leaving their patients in pain like this, with such problems, ever. Even if they did not have insurance.

Sorta good about the cow. Glad no injuries, but still... yeah, cattle out on roads, especially at night, is not good for cars and drivers - or cows or cow owners.
