The preceding series of images, along with Herself's from the same place, will be going to the lab today for printing. Next week is the camera club meeting with the themed critique/competition for which these were made. It's been quite an interesting experience, shooting to a theme with a deadline.

Indeed. Something similar is getting artwork ready for a themed convention show (Science Fiction/Fantasy in this case); another deadline, and while there is perhaps a bit more latitude in the theme, yet the images must remain in genre.

It bodes well, I think, that our work is ready sufficiently ahead of time that we'll be totally prepped.

You mean the one called 'Peak-a-Boo' from a day or three back on LJ (the group - they're all over on Flickr)? It is a turkey, looking through pickets of a gate.
