Well, at least it was...

Contrary to popular opinion, we here in the Surgical Theatre prefer that sanguinous tissue remain in the intra-vascular space. Translated, Bleeding is Bad, Duh! There is, however, good news. My e-mail access is restored.

Sort of like those Gekko commercials, neh? Oh, and there's other news, All Bleeding Stops Eventually.

Oh well. The Border Collie Bros will just wonder what I've been hunting and gathering today.

Oh dear - they let you lose in the OR again did they? Sanguination is NOT good.

Correct idea, wrong word. Sanguination is good. Exsanguination is... not so good. Odd how two small letters may designate the direction of process. Yes, every so often we come up short-staffed (people feeling too ill to be around compromised patients, and such), scrape the bottom of the barrel, and moi floats to the surface.

Thats what I get for trying to write comments before I had breakfast! And I am sure you are a damn GOOD bottom of the barrel!

Feh! Don't you just hate hypoglycemia? Much less caffiene-emia. And yes, if one does say so oneself, I do damn good bottom of the barrel. As the Garth Brooks song suggests, the people are ever so much more interesting there. "I've got friends in low places, where the whiskey runs and the beer chases..."

And following a couple McKesson XXX Stout before and during dinner yesterday, it's all back in perspective. After all, despite the cynicism inherent in the statement, "All bleeding stops eventually," we did avoid this bloke meeting the coroner. In fact, one of the means employed to this end brings up our discussion: we provided some sanguination!
