For my lunch relief to get here. Probably someone would get here sooner if I were waiting for Godot. This is one of the things I don't mind leaving behind, waiting for someone to come get you out for lunch.

But, I am thankful I have gainful employment.

"Hi. My blood sugar is dropping...NOW. See ya."

I know, you can't do that. That's why I like *my* job.

We do have a couple diabetics working here. In general, we pay attention to when they need to be out.

Why *just* the diabetics?
Politness for everyone!

Well, it is politeness. See, you've got 26 OR's. Each OR has one nurse, one scrub, and *must* always have them in it. So, you've got six - eight more nurses and more scrubs who come in to work round Noon; each of them receive three - four lunch assignments. 30 minutes per each lunch. But add in to that about five minutes giving "report" on either end of the break when we bring the folk up to speed on what's happening here.

That means the fourth person on the list (3 lunch breaks x 40 minutes = 120 minutes or two hours) is getting lunch sometime around 14:00. So our diabetics go to the start of the list.
