today is Katsushika Hokusai's birthday. the creater of a sets of prints in the Ukiyo-e style. he is most known for The Great Wave Off Kanagawa and the 36 views of Mt. Fuji.

That's cool, I didn't know Hokusai's birthday is today. It is, however, not the event in question.
