The 15th Annual WSCPN Mini-Congress is officially over. I've spent the past 45 minutes in a combination of surfing the web making a rental car reservation, checking e-mail (none) and miscellanious interspersed with the occasional re-shoot of the view from my balcony. However, check-out time is fast approaching. This is not a major problem. The big bag is already packed, and that means into a vehicle which is actually on the way back to Tacoma at this time. I've my computer/carry-on which holds office and minimal clothing supplies (all fresh, even on this jaunt which should terminate where my big bag is going), and my camera bag. These qualify for airline carry-on status, so not big.
We'll be pulling out of here no later than noon, and doing a relatively leisurely drive back. We do need to pause briefly in the immediate vicinity of SeaTac International for me to pick up the rental; I prefer to do it this evening because it provides the most flexibility for myself and respect for my hosts. Their routine tomorrow won't be disrupted, and I can roll on my next adventure at earliest convenience.
I'm still looking at a mildly uncertain future; exactly where I shall lay my head at night the next couple days is to be determined, but potentials exist in many places. I've contact info for several friends, and a couple of spots in mind for photo expeditions with or without companionship. Nothing particularly remote, not geared up for that.
It's an adventure!
