That's Kidneys In, not Kidneys Out. Someone no longer using either of theirs thoughtfully provided them for the use of two needy souls.

The first is in Recovery, the second swung to another room and is started. Holiday weekends are often bittersweet for operating rooms; one source for donors is motor vehicle accidents. And it may be a day or so after the weekend officially ends that the families accept, and decide, and then ... we work.
