Well, actually it's fatfred and wedschilde, but I'm not sure either one is reading today due to other plans, and Al Koa sounded good... as in aluminum, not wood.
it is so yours. i'll have to get you some more and send it on down. across? over? there should be three pieces... i tossed in one of the small ones. i really don't need a sleeve. perhaps make yourself a box? a hat? a brooch? a pterodactyl?
okay so i can't send enough to make a pterodactyl but wouldn't that be cool?
Yup, three pieces (THANKS!), and I'm still waiting on at least dimensions for that sleeve. I don't think a wooden hat would be all that comfortable (though some of the eboshi I've seen in woodblock prints make me wonder...). Now a pterodactyl, that does sound cool!
I may see if I can keep a big enough piece for mine and fatfred's friend Tetsuo who is a knife maker/blacksmith to use as a hilt on a knife. That won't require a lot.
ooooo... that would be so cool... a knife maker. sleeve dimensions? slightly bigger than a businss card? heh... hang a sec..it's wee!
i have these rubber sleevie things at home. i'll drop one off in the mail in a couple of weeks if you like? dimensions are officially: 95.5 X 54.6 X 15 (mm)...cause you know it would have killed them to convert that into inches :) i can convert if you like...having cheating with an online converter :)
honestly, i could do without a sleeve if you don't have enough wood to make yourself something nice :) hell, bookmarks for all! i'm not sure if you want to make koa chopsticks... that would be wrong :) but we do need them for the eland chronicle readings.
Thank you, I've several metric measuring devices. In fact, just for my own shear perversity, I often make things using metric rather than Amurikan as a subtle comment on Amurikan provinciality. *G*
Will keep in mind the chopsticks. Do you want Chinese, or hashi? Or was that bookmarks for the chronicle readings?
I'm not much of a wood-carver, but it's on the list now. Don't hold your breath. Go get caffiene. Spill it internally. See other thread for reference. *G*
whoo hooo!
