At least indirectly. Last year toward the end of the year, or so, we sold a cow to a neighbor. The cow had recently calved, and not weaned, so the calf went with his dame. Neighbor had the cows on some land not his own (rental). Went to round up calf for us last Friday. Cows & young bull calf gone.

::sigh::

A theft unlikely ever to be recovered.

In other news, all the rest of the critters here at Teh Ranch are OK.

Time to invest in OnStar Tracking...

You know that a cow will eat anything she can get her tongue on, so just get a micro chip for the car and put it in her Alfalfa.

Then call OnStar - they check the Satellite and Walla Walla, there you are (actually, there she are, I mean is... :o)

It's a thought.

Not likely to be enacted. Our herd size is not that big, most are here on our own place (this one being with the neighbor a bit unusual). Expense versus return, eh?
