LOL...poor houdini. I always feel a bit sorry for the dog when they come trotting up happily to you, reeking of poop or some dead thing, expecting you to be all "wow what IS that? I LOVE it on you! Where can I get some?"
Apparently it's a wild canid thing for pack canines who want to tell the rest of the guys where the prey/food/poop is. But yeah, we humans are pretty lousy wolves.
Good luck with that hose game. I find it's best if you cheat & tie your opponent up before the game starts. ;-)
