OK, a week ago I set up that poll about a default icon, and yes I know you can go look at the results, but hey, WTF?


Mad Shutterbug needs a Default Icon. Should He:

The lead here goes to my propensity to force y'all to use radio buttons instead of ticky boxes. Tough. Get over it. *G*

Next in high response order was just grab something and get over it. I did.

Next, it should be a self-portrait. OK, but that'll take a while. Need to look at some complete work, and yes there's some thoughts for a couple other self-portraits. Oh, those vain artists. On the other hand, no one said I should use a portrait done by a friend, and there's a couple of them out there now, so I guess that's a compliment.

Nearly last on the list (not counting those Zeros, eh?) was use an existing icon, which is what I did to grabbing and getting over it.

Last, not least, is the selection that says icon should show me. Combined with the self-portrait question this then ties the 'get over it' idea. OK.



Regarding Ticky Boxes... people seem to be indulging my avoidance of That Number. *G*

Now to some specifics.
To the bordercolliebrs, OK, guys, we'll work on that.
To quietdarkness and wedschilde, right, workin' on that.
Oh, and jehannamama, likewise. *G*
To marjai, the site you recommended requires registration. I'll look around.
To scorched_mirth: interesting suggestion for an icon. I'll come up with something.
Finally, ichthyus: The puppies have their own location, and they get their tokens for when they sneak into mine and want to make a quick comment.


Meanwhile, in case you failed to notice, Harrison Ford is now my default icon.
