Indeed. And with Herself being a Pepsi Person, I suppose we could keep some of either DC or C around for that purpose. It is, however, worth more than the cost of a new battery (something needed anyway) than to use Herself's Pepsi for the same purpose. :-)
I doubt that it would have saved the negative terminal either, as that was pretty well corroded through.
