And as someone pointed out to me, of course there are problems with That Other Site, because there are elections ongoing Over There. Fah.
Though it is interesting, to some extent, how that might effect accessing things via the Hospital Internets. For example, my photograph of Popper doing the Jingle Bells thing shows as a broken link when I look at either DW or LJ at Hospital. It isn't, however, a broken link. Verified this via the Phone Webz and checking that way, while at Hospital but not using that wireless connection.
Things are a bit slow at Hospital the past week or so, something I am sure associated with the upcoming Holidays, though may be more a measure of the overall economy. Enough going on until this week that we stayed working. Yesterday, though, slow enough that one of the surgeons I work with requested permission of the Powers that Be to take 'his' team (well, he actually said the Pediatric Surgery team) out to lunch. And we got to go. Pakistani cuisine, and I enjoyed a delightful goat curry.
Today I left work early. Very early, actually, because our case load was that far down. Good thing, since I am dealing with that Upper Respiratory Infection thing mentioned there. Ran three point five small errands on the way home, 2.5 for me and one for Herself. Primarily, needed to obtain new cork inner soles for my Super Birkies, work shoes. The old ones are beyond worn, and are now falling apart.
Took a short nap after getting home, and puttered about slow yet steady working on some Photo Show Booth projects. Good progress made, tomorrow will set up for practice again, then pack things up for Saturday.
Now, chicken soup for dinner.
