Is It Time?

Today is due to helping Herself with her PC which is a five year old desktop. Remember the mention (from two days ago) of teh thunderstorms and power blips? Apparently her PC was On during that...
Have now booted off of Windrs CD, run repair to run a CHKDSK /R and rebooted again. Winders is now working. However, it is also taking Herself's PC a long time to complete the boot-up. Probably due to scrambled sectors and other such things which (I expect) CHKDSK did not sufficiently repair.
Mr. Gates. We are Not Amused.
Plus, quick skim to catch up, encountering problems with LJ displaying images in some posts.

Time for bed.
