Oct. 24th, 2008 09:21 amToday is, at least according to my calendar, Labour Day in New Zealand. Happy Holiday, Kiwis!
Today is also, much closer to home, Homecoming Weekend (Start Of) for University. This means that not only is University closed for classes today as the Celebrations Commence about noon with the Homecoming Parade, but also so are all the public schools in County. Possibly in surrounding counties also, but I won't swear to that. Parade will be wet; it is raining here today in North Central Baja Jorja.
Also, in much less significant news, my Firefox display of my LJ Friends Page is acting quite wonky in appearance today. Suddenly. WTF?
