Staying With A Theme

Netherlands #1

I'd called it 'Netherlands' except that's not really the area the dress style comes from...

Studio work, learning how to use the Studio. A bit of what you are looking at is post-production work, to correct for use of Studio. *G*

Love the composition and her dress makes me drool as always. The lighting is lovely.

Constructive criticism: I'd lighten up a bit on the artifical blur on the background, which a) does some weird things to your edges and b) is missing in one spot (the right hand arm of the chair, when facing it, in the hole underneath). Also if you can add lighting that would eliminate that shadow, although if you lighten up on the post-processing blur the shadow will look less obtrusive and funky, I think. I'd also crop the area above her head so there's not so much blank space, but then I have a tendency to like my photos tight on the subject so take it as you will!

Blurring and masking?
(Just quietly, you've missed a couple of bits, under the camera-right arm and inside the back leg of the chair.)

Masking & blurring, indeed. I knew about the bit inside the chair leg, chose to ignore that. Missed the bit under the arm. :)
