Onward...

Madame Queen Mary Kitteh died peacefully in her sleep, yesterday some when around 23:00.

I'm so sorry to hear this. It is one of the few downsides to being owned by our animals - their short lifespans.

[identity profile] madshutterbug.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 12:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, indeed. Add to that that while we've known Mary all her life, she lived with us for only the past five. She enjoyed a good long run, at that.

She was a beautiful girl. I'm glad she went peacefully. It beats the alternative.

Bummer!

She is a beauty, Tom.

We are glad she came to live with us those five years. She went through a rough patch back then, when both her other primary humans died within a couple years of each other, almost died then. Apparently, she decided the New Home and Monkeys proved quite acceptable, probably very similar even if no big water here.

Sweet little four-legged! I'm sure she will be missed.

[identity profile] madshutterbug.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 01:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, she was. *G*

[identity profile] madshutterbug.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 01:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, she will.

Well, let me amend that a touch. I don't think the Kittehs of Apocalypse will miss her, since she pretty much terrorised them starting with her moving in date. *G*

::::hugs::: i am so sorry baby.

[identity profile] fatfred.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 03:28 pm (UTC)(link)

Much Sympathy.

[identity profile] madshutterbug.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 03:38 pm (UTC)(link)
It is sad, it is Life, it is good. She lived a good life.

Even the Otterz are mourning. *nods*

I'm so sorry! She was a beauty, and I'm so grateful that she went peacefully.

I'm so sorry for your loss...she looked like a lovely cat and it sounds like she was loved and happy to the end. We keep giving our hearts to these little guys so they can break them, but what can we do? It's part of loving a companion animal; they're all so temporary.

[identity profile] singingnettle.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 04:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, isn't she beautiful.

Sending you a virtual hug. Losing a friend is hard. I'm glad you had the enjoyment of each other in these years that she lived with you.

[identity profile] singingnettle.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 04:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, I don't know about that. Even if she terrorised them, she still became part of their world.

[identity profile] miz-hatbox.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 04:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, dear.

I am so sorry.

[identity profile] starcat-jewel.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 06:08 pm (UTC)(link)
My condolences. It's never easy.

I'm so sorry. That's always so hard.

[identity profile] carlyinrome.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 07:32 pm (UTC)(link)

I'm sorry. <3

[identity profile] lolleeroberts.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 10:08 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sorry for your loss. She had a good life with you and a peaceful end.

[identity profile] madshutterbug.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 09:01 pm (UTC)(link)
She didn't want to, though I knew when she went to sleep, it would be the last time. Thus, yes, peacefully.

[identity profile] madshutterbug.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 09:02 pm (UTC)(link)
She was fun! On several occasions, either working on a still-life type project or with a model, she'd come into Studio and expect to be the center of attention (of course!).

[identity profile] madshutterbug.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 09:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Wouldn't trade it, even knowing the outcome.

[identity profile] singingnettle.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 09:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, I understand.

[identity profile] madshutterbug.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 10:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, but what a wonderful life it was!

[identity profile] madshutterbug.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 10:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed. They come, they go.

So it goes.

[identity profile] madshutterbug.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 10:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. Still, we could see the time approaching. And she did like our place.

[identity profile] madshutterbug.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 10:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Thank you. We'll miss her.

[identity profile] madshutterbug.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 10:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks. Yes, that's what we promised her. Well, the good life part, anyway. The end, as with most things involving cats, was up to her. *G*
