Thanks to several sources now.

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now (even if we don't speak often or ever), please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me.

It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph in your lj and see what your friends come up with. Or not.

Remember how we did our part to preserve the Tower?

[identity profile] madshutterbug.livejournal.com 2008-10-14 10:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Um, no... but then, it was the '60's. And we all know the old saying about that, if you remember them you weren't really there.

Was this before, or after Woodstock?

My favorite moment together was that stake out in Frisco. It was so cold. The fog was so thick we couldn't see across the street, and we just weren't sure we were ever going to get the pictures we needed to nail that bastard.

Then that damned otter of yours knocked over his mocha, and we had to call the whole thing off.

[identity profile] madshutterbug.livejournal.com 2008-10-14 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, all that time getting set and then we had to do it all over again. I mean we needed those photos (that's why I subcontracted Popper), so it wasn't like we could just drop it.

I didn't so much mind him spilling the mocha on the car seat (hell, it was a rental, eh) but why did he have to spill it on his bloody camera?

I still say she set you up for that. She just didn't believe that you owned the car!

Y'know, I was thinking the other day about the time we all went to see the Alamo. Somehow I always remember the Alamo...

It was just so real. I could swear we heard the Mexican army band playing El Degüello.

Remember that time when we went hunting polar bears. Cold, but the fire that night made it so worth it!

[identity profile] madshutterbug.livejournal.com 2008-10-14 10:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, we couldn't have you freezing your toes nor anything else, now, could we? Besides, we hadn't tanned the polar bear's hide yet, and it would not of been much comfort to sleep under for that reason.

You and I are ace rollerdisco partners. We should so enter a contest!

Have a lovely day! :-)

Yes! We should use the routine we worked up to Area 7's 'Nobody Likes a Bogan.'

A huge group of us hit a Japanese steakhouse after meeting one night. It was pretty cool that you and Carm came to the meeting, since you usually don't, and I ended up sitting next to you. The conversational topics ranged from kimonos, cons, sword construction, photography, whats right with the world (since whats wrong is such a depressing and lengthy topic), to five or fifty other topics. The food was fantastic, the chef entertaining, and I came out of it with plans for new outfits and a date to get them photographed. You know, big surprise with the garbie doll and madshutterbug talking.

It was just a fun evening.

Heheheheh. That chef was pretty wicked with those knives, wasn't he. You didn't believe he'd launch those chopped veggie pieces at you, much less right into your mouth. Then he did the same for every lady at the table!

You, Seamus, and I went biking into the wilds of Lower Jorja and encountered a tribe of ottrz wearing haori. This lead to an involved conversation with said ottrz about the proper wearing of Japanese style garb. They then treated us to sushi (but no Fuki plum wine) before we had to peddle our way homeward.

I think some of those ottrz followed us home...
