Oh...

There is so little joy in Leezardville this morning...

I've been nice, not rubbing it in. Much. Truly, not much. But there is so little joy in Leezardville. It is helping make the first day back at work rather... pleasant.

Is it so wrong that we are Gators and don't give a rat's ass about them?

Nah. Didn't think so. I still love giving those kids polite-yet-firm hell on the phone when they call up, dunning me every year for alumni donations. Only two good things came out of my four years there: Bob and An Crosaire.

Right. I've always claimed I received a great education from the College of Nursing. But I am not now, and never have been a Gator. UF Alumnus, yes.

Considering that the game was in contest until the last minute, and none of the Leezards around here are willing to say it was a good game...

Point taken, and I stand corrected: alumnus, but not a Gator. :-)

At least you got good value for your money from the College of Nursing. The College of Fine Arts and the graphic design program, though nationally recognized now, were a joke back in our day.

It's a bad day in Leezardville in Bob's office today though, where the Bull Gator owner & boss (and a major, major donor of the UF building contruction program) dwells.

Once, Bob and I flew up with him in his blatantly orange & blue Baron twin-engine (with a Gator sticker on the tail) to Tallahassee. He and Bob had to see a client and we were also picking up a new car to drive home.

I asked him, "Aren't you worried someone's going to key your plane in the parking lot?". He just laughed.

I wouldn't bring a half-million dollar garnet & gold plane to G'ville though...
