And, well, anyone else that wants to read this. *G*

So, my colleagues in FCORN (Florida Council periOperative Registered Nurses) asked me to run for an office, and they elected me secretary. And our new Chair (officer installation tonight) is another Trekkie/Trekker/Star Trek Fan Name of Choice. Each year, the incoming Chair picks some theme for the installation ceremony.

When I saw the pictures on the fans each new officer received (started with the Nominating Committee, I knew which character would come with the Secretary's office.

Oh, she uses characters from ST:TOS and ST:NG. No one from ST:DS9 or ST:Voyager though. And yes, used Uhura because the Secretary's job is to communicate.
