Been watching an animated series called 'Afro Samurai'. Figured I'd give it a shot; it's something of a cross between chambura, anime, and ... well, not sure. Maybe comic books/graphic novels. Anyway, been giving it a shot. I've watched the first three episodes. Which of itself is a fair measure, as there've been shows which didn't make it past the first episode for me. Or the second. So, third.

But, not sure how long it's going to keep going. Oh, not so much for the cable/satelite networks, for me.

Anybody else out there seen it?

Me! I've been watching it. I tell zompus to download it, but being that he has his ENTIRE LIFE in hours of downloaded TV episodes, I don't think he'll get around to it.

I quite like it. Not as much as Samurai Champloo, but I like the dark animation (which is apparently quite hard to do) + old culture + gadgets + quite a lot of violence really. And RZA does the soundtrack, which just gives it a nice polish. I'm about to watch episode 4 now, god bless Demonoid.
