Followed this link which I nicked from betnoir, and personally, found it quite amusing.

But then, my sense of humour is often called 'base.' Not sure why.

Anyway, the icon with this post? Inspired by the link and Bet's comment. And (edited to add) is nicked itself in part from a recent article in the National Geographic (like, this month's issue) about our Probable Ancestors.

So, all of you peeps who may be inclined to enjoy it as well?

Very funny! But also a bit too true to be funny.

A case in point: My little right wing mama called me last week, and we were chatting politics. She doesn't like Bush, but said she was terrified about Pelosi being Speaker. Why, Ma? I ask. "Because the first thing she will do is come take our guns."

Swear to God, that's what she said. It is to laugh, no? Otherwise, I'd have to cry :)
