Yeah, it would.

Although I am forced to admit that the year my Mom ruptured her appendix the day before Thanksgiving, I did tell her that if she really didn't want to cook dinner, we could just go out ....

Alas then, I am guilty.

*sigh*

OK, so what else is happening?

Eh, you know, same old same old.

Do you read [livejournal.com profile] ozarque's journal? She's been working for several days on the "emotional weather" in the US, and whether there's any way to improve it.

Oh I read her journal, and yeah I agree with so much she says on "emotional weather" in the US....

Snarky? Yes. Unmerited? Not so sure.

I would have preferred to see him sit in a prison cell (and not a fancy white-collar one, either) for at least a while, meditating on what he'd done and the consequences it brought. But then, I'm a vindictive bitch, and I know people whose lives he ruined.

Still, even though I made the comment, there is a small question as to the merit. It will depend on some personal assumptions, which not everyone will share. My own is that whatever the venue for it, he's now facing a Greater Judge (be it an Almighty by whatever Name, or Karma, or whatever).

Yeah. Perhaps The Big Guy In Charge stepped in and said, "I know those humans are going to mess this up again, I might as well take care of the sentencing myself."

[identity profile] jehannamama.livejournal.com 2006-07-05 10:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes... well I guess I have to trust that he's going to get some of what he doled out.

[identity profile] zompus.livejournal.com 2006-07-05 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeup. I would have preferred that he go to a Federal PMiTA prison. Oh well.

[identity profile] zompus.livejournal.com 2006-07-05 05:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah. What a cop-out. I can see conspiracy theorists already spinning.

To quote an unwitting do-ka by my teacher: "The cause of death for everyone is heart failure."

"Life. No one gets out alive."
