Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch

Got a message yesterday while I was at work that we have a new kid. Mom is one of two goats "in hospital" which is a small pen up close to the house. She isn't in hospital for the kid, rather because she'd been bitten by either a dog or coyote. Actually, we didn't notice she was preggers, so this is rather cool. Now Gimpy Longears, the other kid in hospital, has a bigger herd and someone closer to her size.

Gimpy's knee is healing, though she's still got contractures in that leg and needs stretching therapy. Which she doesn't particularly like. Such is life.

Huh. I didn't know about your (farm or ranch) life...

I love goats. I'd like to live someplace outside city limits eventually where we could have a few.

Oh, yes, Boss and Mrs. Boss really really like the ranch. We helps them a lot. Mamma Munch taught us everything. Well, mostly.
