Ah, thank you, that's my answer! Those 3 buttons are labeled "Embed", "HTML", and "BBCode" -- but they are labeled in extremely light grey, so much so that I didn't even notice it (something on the order of 030303) and thought they were the size selection. And until now, the HTML selection has been the default one that came up when I clicked "Share".
I will now make an addendum to my Forum post with the very strong suggestion that they darken those labels. If I'd been able to read them the first time around, I wouldn't have had a problem.
I really, really don't like the new layout. First off, if I wanted a Pinterest account, I'd get a Pinterest account. Secondly, as one of my friends puts it, they're recreating the load rate of a mid-1990s modem. OTOH, I like Picasa even less, and I've got nearly 10,000 pictures up on Flickr, many of which I don't have a local duplicate of (because for the first couple of years I didn't copy the image files to my hard drive after uploading them).
