As far as Yahoo e-mail addresses, believe you can set gmail up to check them for you and then spoof them for return mails. Or even not spoof them, if you prefer, since most people don't check the Reply-To field and will just ignore it if your name doesn't change.

As far as Flickr, I'd check your router set up. I've had zero trouble with WildBlue and Flickr.
