Thank you for not saying "Happy Veterans Day". Really. I was feeling sick to my stomach seeing it being bandied around like it's another excuse to drink beer and eat food. November 11th out of any other day should be a reflection on the very real sacrifices of others. The things soldiers have been through, not for any other reason than to do the Right Thing. And some of them didn't even get to make that decision.
