Your stories made me cry. Thank you for your service.

My uncle was career airforce and served in 3 wars. Flew supply copters as a Colonel in Vietnam, he was never afraid to get out there and fight. He was mightily sorry he retired when the first Gulf War broke out: ) I've had a lot of relatives who have served, but none who were killed. My grandfather was wounded in that War to End All Wars (hahahahaha.)

I too, have seen Congressional Medals of Honor, all posthumus. They line the Memorial Student Center at Texas A&M University. They are from WWII, and feature photos, the medals and what the military men did to earn the medals. It sends chills down my spine when I think of the stories.

So yes, I remember today.
