The "if it works" referred to actually getting the silly thing to post on LJ. I went through all kinds of gyrations before I managed it.

Actually, I was really pleased with that image because, after I found it just by looking at pictures, I learned that it represents you in more than one way.

Multifaceted is correct! And it turns out that the picture is from a site about temari, which is a traditional Japanese art form.
