No Coffee This Morning

Wasn't re-stocked by the weekend crew. Oh well.

Cell phone didn't update to Daylight Savings Time last night. Hooray for Cingular/AT&T... and most annoying, as I use the cell for an alarm clock quite regularly. Being the paranoid sort I am, last night I also set the hotel room clock & alarm, so I'm not behind.

But, after doing some rigamarole to make sure computer was ready for the oddness that is DST in general and this year specifically, the computer did not make the jump either. My Palm Pilot did (that was part of the rigamarole).

I dislike Daylight Savings Time.

But really, just now it's Time To Shower.

I thought you said Daylight Savings Time is stupid, Boss, not that you don't like it. I don't understand it at all. Like, how can you save daylight? There's only so much daylight. You can't put it someplace for when you need it. Boss you turn on a light when it's dark, but that's not daylight. And when daylight goes away, it's nighttime. You can't save nighttime either! There's only so much of it, then daylight comes back.

I despise Daylight Savings Time. Rar.

I feel your pain.

Really.

I do.

I dislike Daylight Savings Time.

It's not so much DST as it is the gov't mucking around with something that was fine the way it was.
Again.

Or Microsoft not adequately adjusting to the event.
Again.

Yup. I am with Squrrl.

Now I'll have fun watching the 90-somethings adapt for the next weeks. Again.

My cellphone does not automatically reset for DST when left on overnight -- I now have two confirming instances. It resets after being turned off and then back on. Russ' cellphone, however, does auto-reset. Go figure.

I think DST is silly and by and large worthless. However, it's also one of those things I file in the "too trivial to get upset about" category. I can't do anything about it, so outrage accomplishes nothing except to damage my own health.
