My cold reached the stage where the sore throat inflammation is gone, and therefor the eustacian tubes are open. So now, my ears are popping to equalise pressures. Sometimes down, WHAM ouch... sometimes up, when I blow my nose.

Overall, this means I can't hear very well today.

No, not really. Cold started like weekend before last; colds last two weeks. Take drugs, colds last two weeks. Don't take drugs, colds last two weeks. It's getting better; until my ears started popping, it was just constant pressure. *G*
