Been a while since I've seen one in this general manner, and as other's occasionally mention there's a few new folk on Teh FList since then. So I'll shamelessy nick this from wedschilde and adapt it to my needs. Feel free to partake, feel free to skip, mostly feel free. (except otters. no tongue, otters.)

1. Who are you? I am Janet Miles, which should be fairly obvious from my username, but on the other hand, people do post under things that look like legal names but turn out to not be.

2. Are we friends? I would say so, yeah; not super-close, but friends.

3. When and how did we meet? Via LJ, but I don't remember through whom. It's been, what, a couple of years that we've been commenting in each other's journals?

4. Do you have a crush on me? No; I like you but have no romantic feelings toward you.

5. Would you kiss me? No. Friendly hello/goodbye hugs, sure, but kissing is reserved for Dale.

6. Give me a nickname and explain why you picked it: I'm so bad at this sort of thing that I'm just going to skip this question.

8. What was your first impression? "Hey, this is someone I think I'd enjoy chatting with."

9. Do you still think that way about me now? Nope; you've been "promoted" to "someone I *know* I enjoy chatting with."

10. What reminds you of me? Anything medical, many things photographic, some dogs, and the occasional otter.

11. If you could give me anything what would it be? Probably a book on some obscure topic that caught my eye.

12. How well do you know me? More than slightly, probably verging on moderately.

13. When's the last time you saw me? When you were up here for that training last ?fall.

14. Ever wanted to tell me something but couldn't? Can't think of anything.

I've been promoted! Woohoo! Promotions are good. Watch out for those otters though. As someone mentioned to me recently, they tend to take over. And, counting around the Ranch, seems like there's got to be more than one of 'em...
