A Quickie

We made it back to the ranch with furniture in rental truck by about 15:30 or so on Sunday. Unloaded all but the couch and dining room table that evening, and began to totally flummox the Kittens of the Apocolypse and their brother Ras. Miss Mary Kitty, on the other hand, apparently felt more that it was about time we brought things from Her Other House here.

Finished unloading yesterday early afternoon (took a partial day off work), and returned the truck.

Uh huh.

Been known to bring it into work for lunch. Ensues the following conversation (CW = CoWorker):

CW: Whatcha eating?
MSB: Tuna.
CW: Doesn't look like tuna.
MSB: So, how do you eat tuna?
CW: You know. Tuna salad.
MSB: Why ruin perfectly good tuna?
CW: Huh?
MSB: OK. More for me.
CW: If that's tuna, why is it red?
MSB: Ain't been ruined.
CW: Um, you mean... it's... like... hardly cooked?
MSB: No. I mean it's like not cooked at all.

heh... sashimi is godlike. one of my favourite foods.
