What's in a Name?

I've seen the Crush Meme that shows up periodically. I've read some commentary on LJF pages about having crushes on someone. Had to pause; the whole crush thing, when I was growing up, proved rather... uncomfortable, painful, and preferably avoidable. Probably because I was the proverbial Nerd Geek with slide-rule and pocket protector.

No, really.

Still, I usually am willing to examine or re-examine things. After all, it's part of Nursing Process: Gather Data, Assess, Plan, Implement, Gather Data, Re-assess. Maybe I need to re-think this business about having a crush on someone.

Or maybe I just need sleep. Sleep sounds good.

Yeah, on the whole, I'm grateful not to have crushes, other than a few cheerful and purely recreational lusts. Crushes make my brain hurt and almost invariably end with my feeling bad.
