Holiday Greetings... Sort Of

Saw the gist of this elsewhere, the one with the Star Wars theme. Thought I ought to repost or something, because, well, yes, snort. Popper told me nay, don't repost it. So we did the newest Fruity Product thing (iSteal) and here we are...

How I Spent My Sunday Vacation

Prepping for an upcoming arts & crafts weekend show in Downtown Hoggetowne.

Like that's going to hook you into reading more. Not much in the way of making/printing/mounting and et cetera photographs, we will be using items on hand. Yesterday we refreshed our knowledge about display walls for our booth. Friend of ours swears she packed up her old walls when we purchased one of her old pavilions. We are equally certain we can't find them. This doesn't mean they aren't here. Simply, we can't find them.

At any rate, we went on-line and looked at a couple companies products. We could spend a ::gasp:: $700 chunk for a set of three walls. Or we could go to Lowe's (any of the similar stores which carry this product will work) for garden shade mesh fabric, some grommets, and use our time and materials/machinery on hand to make a set for... oh, about $100.

Done.

Or not completely, but the major parts are done, and one wall test-fitted to one of our two quick setup pavilions. It works.

Along with that a bit of work on some images, one which I already posted for your amusement. Mind you, that link takes you behind the cut and over on Dreamwidth.
