I did find a pair, though I had to go to 4 stores to do so! I was beginning to think I'd simply have to order them from Land's End, but the local Sun 'n Ski had a few pair left in my size, one of which was in a non-offensive pattern. And they were indeed on sale -- about 40% off, I'm guessing from the price marked vs. my after-tax total.
