Contacted seller, and turns out he forgot to ship right off. I now have proper tracking info, and may expect the arrival on or about the 8th. This will not provide sufficient time to play with the lens before departing to Colorado, where I will be doing some photography near around Colorado Springs. So it's probably a good thing I wasn't planning on bringing the Old Man with me this trip.
